What Do Afghan Citizens Think?

Between March and June 2022, Human Security Lab collected over 26,000 survey responses from adult Afghan internet users about their views on life in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan: their safety, their fears, their views on the Afghan reserves, the status of women, international support and many other topics. The data reveal not only Afghan attitudes disaggregated by gender, language, urban/rural divide, education, socio-economic class and political alignment but also include Afghans’ answers in their own words on human rights, women’s rights, peace, development and security.
